Istanbul, June 21 (Hibya) – Agricultural input prices rose by 52.20 percent year-on-year and 1.72 percent month-on-month in April, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
Agricultural-IPI (2020=100) increased by 1.72 percent compared to the previous month, increased by 14.61 percent compared to December of the previous year, increased by 52.20 percent compared to same month of the previous year and increased by 39.08 percent compared to twelve months moving averages, in April 2024
Monthly changes by main groups, goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased by 1.70 percent and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment increased by 1.87 percent.
Goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased by 49.13 percent, and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment increased by 73.70 percent compared to same month of the previous year.
Veterinary expenses with 143.26 percent was the subgroup that indicated the highest annual rate of change. Maintenance of buildings with 7.73 percent was the subgroup that indicated the highest monthly rate of change
